Lincoln Leadership Program

Beneath the impressive projects undertaken by Lincoln Ambassadors every year is a robust class based tutorial program. A tutorial in the Lincoln Program is a “small, discussion based” class where Lincoln Ambassadors meet regularly to review progress with their projects and build capacity to grow their ideas. The Lincoln Leadership Program takes great pride in the high level of intellectual rigour invested in these tutorials. Scholars gain access to well researched global case studies that stimulate the mind, provoke thought and inspire action.

Africa 2.0

The Lincoln Leadership Program takes seriously the responsibility of helping young African leaders scale up their ability to lead. As Lincoln Ambassadors go through their classes, the sheer breadth of issues that they will have discussed by the end of the program will build in them a body of knowledge and skills that will be unrivalled by their peers.

Mental Health

Antoinette, a Lincoln leader, observed that the number of young people struggling with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety disorders etc was on the increase. As a school student, she saw more and more of her school mates quietly struggling with these issues and this is what drove her to take action. She decided to start a project that trained and taught young people about how they can handle life’s stress in a positive and constructive way.

Zero Hunger

Founded by Godwill, Amos, Nathan and Jeff this dynamic team launched the Inua mtoto initiative that sought to provide food stuffs and stationery to the children that live in a children’s home within their community. The home caters to more than 30 children and through a combination of different fund raising strategies, the project was able to mobilize over USD900

Leadership & Fashion

Driven by a passion for fashion and leadership, Quinn, a Lincoln Leader set out on a mission to organize beauty pageants in care homes for children. Fashion has the unique ability of lifting people’s esteem and through this project, many children in care homes have had the experience of dressing up in nice clothes, feeling good about themselves and participating in a pageant.

Climate Action

Anchored on Sustainable Development 13, Sushil, a Lincoln Leader launched a climate fund to procure seedballs to tackle the issue of climate change in arid communities in Kenya. Through this fund 2,500 seedballs were procured. With many arid communities having suffered climate disasters, this project will see these communities receive some reprieve in the years to come
